The Highest Commandment

Written by Minister James Rathman

When facing Jesus, no one could have a greater feeling than that of having received Jesus as their Savior, then immediately having led as many people as possible to accept Jesus as their Savior.

If someone wanted the greatest fulfillment of life that they could have, there could be no greater fulfillment than heartfelt gratitude of the gift of eternal life through Jesus.

Every Word in the Bible is many things. Every Word in the Bible is Jesus, every Word in the Bible is the Father giving the love of Jesus, every Word in the Bible is the act of receiving the love of Jesus, and every Word in the Bible is a commandment to lead others to the love of Jesus for everlasting life.

Days of the week, circumstances, situations, pass - and are nothingness without intent of receiving and giving the love of Jesus. With exceeding love, our Father gave His Son Jesus as a sacrifice.

To love our Father in the manner that our Father loves us - is the first, the greatest, and the HIGHEST COMMANDMENT.

Jesus said in Mark 12:30-31 And thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other greater commandment than these.

Our Father gave His Son, and we are to give that gift back by leading others to Jesus as above all in all that we do.

John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by me.

Jesus said in John 15:12 This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you.
