Many Christians are fairly open to saying, "God, church, and the Lord," etc., to someone in the general public - and this is great. But, some Christians are purposely holding back for varying reasons from talking about Jesus while using His name.
The reasons vary but they include pride and embarrassment of what others will think if they say or talk about "Jesus" in public, or to even a friend or loved one.
How refreshing to hear some of the players from the Philadelphia Eagles football team recently – overall, including when winning the Super Bowl, talk about and say, "Jesus" to major media sources. Most of all, the head coach along with some of the players were very bold, excited, and elated for the opportunity to say and thank "Jesus" to the millions of people watching.
The world is without a greater name or word having more power than someone saying or hearing, "Jesus."
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
