Give The Glory - Sermon VIII

Give The Glory - Sermon VIII

Wisdom in the Spirit

The sermon called 'Wisdom in the Spirit' explains some of the immensity of God's Word, such as the first four chapters of Proverbs can be used as a basis for a lifetime of guidance. The definition of 'wisdom in the Spirit,' is wisdom from the Spirit of God into our spirit. Proverbs 4:7 states that wisdom is principal. But, someone cannot begin receiving knowledge and have the ability to use it through the wisdom of God, without having a fear of God first. Having a fear of God includes to recognize that God is not only greater than oneself, but that God is a divine God, and to have a divine reverence along with a divine respect for God, worshiping and loving God. (Proverbs 1:7)

The definition of knowledge includes foremost to 'know' something. The 'wisdom in the Spirit to love' includes the wisdom to love with that said knowledge.

The foundation and priority for studying the Bible is that someone would want to receive the love of God and learn to give the love of God through each Bible verse.

God's word is not to be taken literally, but to be lived literally. No verse should be isolated for interpretation. All verses should be immersed together to continually grow in the wisdom in the Spirit to love.

The message goes on to explain the importance of fellowship. Fellowship falls under the commandment to love, including attending church as a servant to do many things such as to worship, pray, council, encourage, help the Pastor and congregation, sing praises, and hear, read, along with apply the Word of God.

Growing with 'wisdom in the Spirit to love,' equals growing closer to the Spirit of God and His love. When someone understands the wisdom in the Spirit 'to' any situation, they can have peace in any situation. Seeking wisdom in the Spirit of God's love can yield an openness and qualification to receive and use God's blessings. The Spirit yields guidance, correction, a determination of God's path and plan for someone, counseling for every social situation, relationship answers, life's lessons, health problems, and it protects from evil. Wisdom from the Spirit of God into our spirit covers all and everything in life as well as eternal life.

The Minister goes on to convey that the Bible tells us; 'wisdom and everything that exists,' is created by the wisdom from God's love. God's love is 'why' we exist. The wisdom of God is 'how' we exist.

Wisdom from the Spirit of God leads to salvation through Jesus Christ, and the Minister finalizes with a prayer of hope and surrender.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

1st Corinthians 8:1-3 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity (Charity/Caritas-The highest love, a Godly love) edifies. And if any man thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man loves God, the same is known of him.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you.
